Job Description

We are seeking a talented Director of Marketing to build a strong and integrated channel marketing plan, including e-commerce platform to grow and support our business both nationally and internationally. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven and technically skilled marketing professional to play a lead role both strategically and with implementation across many platforms.

Fusion Optix has uniquely differentiated and patented technology, we have created a suite of optical component and LED module products that enhance and improve lighting fixtures, lamps and bulbs. The company is profitable and in high growth mode having recently invested millions of dollars in an expansion as well as new equipment and capabilities.

Primary Responsibilities:

Development of company channel marketing strategy across all media.
Management of all company lead generation and PR messaging assets including Wordpress website, social media (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook) and email out reach campaigns.
Management of contacts database and key customer account information within Salesforce.com.
Development and implementation of e-commerce strategy and integration with digital media channels.
Provide support and direction for incoming inquiries, routing to appropriate internal personnel.
Develop and produce marketing collateral including brochures, sample packs and tradeshow items.
Drafting and distribution of press releases and news articles.
Support and drive development of corporate branding internal and external.
Tradeshow management and coordination.
Pro-actively prospecting and contributing to targeted sales campaigns to generate new leads and opportunities.
Recording marketing metrics and KPIs in Salesforce.com.
Develop leadership role to recruit and manage 1-2 person marketing and support team.

Skills/Specifications:

5+ years experience in similar role, ideally for a technology or manufacturing company.
Bachelor degree required, Marketing major preferred.
Strong skillset in Wordpress and Salesforce.com CRM software programs.
Adobe Illustrator, Corel Draw or similar graphics editing packages.
Numeracy and technical competencies (The position requires technical savvy and an ability to learn about LEDS and optics.)
Energetic self-starter able to work in fast-paced, self-directed environment.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Decision-making, problem resolution and creative thinking skills.
Proficient level computer skills including MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
