Licensed Therapist (LPC, LPCC, LSW, LISW)

We are seeking a Independently licensed Psychologist or LPCC/LISW to join our team! You will provide recovery-oriented rehabilitation services in group or individual settings.

Responsibilities:

• Establish open lines of communication for individuals with mental or emotional issues
• Offer assistance to individuals with substance abuse issues
• Provide supervision
• Provide prevention-oriented therapy
• Implement and review treatment plans
• Collaborate with additional treatment providers and placement agencies
• Ensure all documentation is completed in a timely manner
• Coordinate, prepare and maintain required charting and documentation in a timely and thorough manner.
• Creates and develops individualized treatment plans with measurable goals and objectives as well as develops treatment plans based upon assessment and in accordance with program requirements, state regulations, etc.
• Communicates pertinent treatment plan information to clinical staff as needed. Implements plan and monitors patient's progress.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of counseling programs, interventions, and the client’s progress.
• Plan, organize and lead structured programs of counseling, work, study, recreation and social activities for clients.
• Gather information about community mental health needs and resources.
• All other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in mental health counseling or other related fields
• Familiarity with supervisory roles
• Familiarity with community mental health resources
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Ability to build rapport with clients
• Strong leadership qualities

Normal agency business hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. with a ½ hour lunch Monday thru Friday with evening hours for appointments and/or meetings as needed. From time-to-time, however, the work situation may require an employee to expend an amount of time in excess of the normal workweek.

Authority Description: The Therapist will be appropriately licensed by the Ohio State Counselor and Social Work Board or the Ohio Department of Mental Health.

Credentials (Education/Experience/Licenses): Must have a current LPCC, LPCC-S, LISW, PhD, or PsyD

OSHA Category: This position may perform tasks that involve exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues. All employees are offered to opportunity to receive the Hepatitis B vaccination series at the Practice's expense
