Unarmed Officers wanted for Federal Building environment security, we have positions in Colorado Springs available.

Job Description: Proactively verify residency of all individuals observed on our clients properties while maintaining a professional image and company brand. Follow all standard operating procedures, and provide a presence that promotes the prevention of criminal activity.

• Secure amenities (I.e. Doors, equipment Rooms etc.) to protect client assets.

• Using a handheld device the posted officer will take pictures, record audio, and enter descriptive text based entries of their patrols and findings during patrols.

• Enforce community policies to provide a safe and comfortable living environment for current and prospective clients.

Requirements:

- Must be 18 years of age and eligible to work for any employer within the US

- Must have a clean criminal record (including no pending charges) and be able to pass a criminal background check

- Must have a clean driving record for the last 3 years

- Must be able to pass a drug screening test

- Must have a high school diploma or GED

- Must have a working smartphone with Internet access

- Must be able to get along with other employees and follow supervisory directions

- Must be able to work effectively under stressful conditions

- Must be available to work overnight including weekends and holidays (this is an overnight/graveyard shift)

- Must be able to stand for prolonged periods and walk for moderate distances at a quick pace .

Salary: $11.00-13.00 /hour for lead position

Responsibilities of a Construction Security Guard:

• Control all vehicles and visitors to the construction site.


• Log the listing of all vehicles, deliveries and visitors on the construction site.


• Escorting visitors to the construction office.


• Secure entrance during non-operating hours.


• Foot patrol of construction site.


• Inspection of exterior fencing checking for security breaches.


• Maintain watch over construction equipment.


• Maintain watch over office trailers and their contents.


• Emergency Security Officer coverage.


• Emergency response (fire or other emergencies).


• Perform an inventory check on all the equipment at the beginning and end of their shift.


• Prepare daily activity and incident reports.


• Use flashlights, two-way radios, whistles, reflective security vest, pagers and cell phones.


• Notify local police and/or fire departments when needed.
