Our Summer Camp program provides a safe,engaging, and fun environment for school-age children (K-6th grade) duringschool holidays and camp days-and our counselors are at the heart of it all.
PositionOverview
Under the guidance of the Site Supervisor, the Summer CampCounselor plays a vital role in delivering high-quality care and memorableexperiences for our campers.
KeyResponsibilities:
- Provide direct supervision to school-age children (K-6th grade)
- Lead and assist with planned daily activities, games, and enrichment programs
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all campers at all times
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming program environment
- Care for program equipment and supplies
- Build positive, professional relationships with children and their families
- Serve as a positive role model and uphold YMCA values
