Job Title: Information Management Support Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Information Management Support Engineer to join our growing team. This individual will provide comprehensive technical, administrative, and operational support for information systems critical to the PACS ICS contract. This role ensures the integrity, availability, security, and usability of contract-related information management systems, databases, and applications. The individual will work closely with government stakeholders, contractors, and cross-functional teams to maintain compliance with applicable federal regulations, agency directives, and cybersecurity requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Systems Support & Maintenance

  • Provide day-to-day support for information management systems, ensuring availability, accuracy, and performance.
  • Monitor system health, conduct troubleshooting, and escalate issues as required.
  • Perform routine data backups, recovery testing, and system patching.

Information Assurance & Compliance

  • Ensure all systems comply with federal cybersecurity standards (FISMA, NIST, RMF, etc.).
  • Maintain system documentation, accreditation packages, and audit trails.
  • Support data protection, access control, and secure information sharing protocols.

User Support & Training

  • Provide Tier 1/Tier 2 help desk support to users, including onboarding, permissions management, and technical guidance.
  • Develop and deliver user training materials and job aids for system use.
  • Assist with resolving user access or performance issues promptly.

Data Management

  • Support database administration, including data entry, query building, reporting, and integrity validation.
  • Maintain metadata, file plans, and digital records management in accordance with DoD/VA/NARA guidelines.
  • Generate recurring and ad hoc reports for leadership and stakeholders.

Program Support

  • Assist with project documentation, including SOPs, technical manuals, and user guides.
  • Provide input on system enhancements, upgrades, and modernization initiatives.
  • Coordinate with contract leadership to meet mission and contract deliverables.
