This position would provide architectural planning support & Project Management to the Real Estate Construction & Design team. The primary role is to provide architectural support & project management for Factory, Commercial Building, Corporate Interiors & Mixed-Use projectsThis position is critical to the team and requires a positive and upbeat person who has excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enjoys working in international team, has a team player mindset & can professionally represent and liaise with clients. We are looking for a friendly, flexible, and energetic personality
The job requires some autonomous decision-making. Work is generally performed in accordance with standard practices and needs to be aligned within the local Real Estate Organization and Real Estate HQ in Germany
Key Responsibilities
- Manages initial Set up of construction projects e.g., customer demands, organization chart etc.
- Performs quality checks during the full project cycle.
- Assists in developing strategies and solutions for complex concept, planning, design & implementation challenges
- Effectively adapts design strategies and guidelines
- Performs design activities such as programming, code research, material and building systems
- Conducts research, laying out program components, and calculation of program and building areas incl. construction costs.
- Evaluates site conditions and possibly performs site surveys.
- Reviews project products, services, and shop drawings
Required Qualifications
- Five to ten years in a technical capacity
- Knowledge of construction means, methods and detailing
- Experience in all phases of the project cycle
- Familiarity with MEP and Structural building systems
- Thorough knowledge of International & local Building Codes including OSHA & ADA Codes
- Experience in industrial and office projects
- AIA & LEED certification preferred
- Design affinity
- Project Management experience preferred
- Computer Skills: - AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, Procore & MS Office
