We're looking for a Principal Mechanical Engineer that will help design and develop sophisticated electronic and opto-mechanical systems used in mission-critical aerospace environments.

What You’ll Do:

  • Supporting requirements development through conceptual design and engineering analysis.
  • Designing mechanical and opto-mechanical systems using PTC Creo.
  • Performing thermal and structural analysis to ensure design reliability.
  • Validating analytical models through prototype testing and mockups.
  • Supporting environmental qualification testing activities.
  • Supporting sustaining engineering and product improvement initiatives.
  • Coordinating design activities across multiple engineering disciplines.
  • Managing CAD data and engineering design documentation within Windchill environments.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 5+ years of electromechanical design experience.
  • Thermal and structural finite element analysis experience.
  • Working knowledge of PCB assemblies, machining, and sheet metal fabrication.
  • Experience working within integrated engineering project teams.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 or AS9100 environments.
  • Strong communication and technical collaboration skills.
  • Proficiency with PTC Creo and Windchill.

Work Environment

This role is based onsite in Duluth, Georgia due to the hands-on nature of hardware integration and lab collaboration. Our engineers work in a modern facility designed to support technical innovation, cross functional collaboration, and focused engineering work.
