Administers prescribed treatment to patients using specialized therapy and computer systems. The purpose is delivery of quality care. Perform and/or assist in CT simulation procedure in CAT Scan department.

Job Description Summary:
Administers prescribed treatment to patients using specialized therapy and computer systems. The purpose is delivery of quality care. Perform and/or assist in CT simulation procedure in CAT Scan department.
- Accurately delivers the prescribed planned course of therapy using the Linear Accelerator.
- Observes radiation safety measures for patient, self and others.
- Utilizes safety features of the safety needle (tatooing) appropriately.
- Assists patient to be as comfortable as possible on the table during all procedures, uses kneepads, armrests, security belts, additional blankets.
- Communicates with patient to ensure importance of comfort of position, allowing patient to have choices as appropriate to the situation.
Requirements:
- HS graduate or equivalent
- Graduate of an accredited program in Radiation Therapy Technology
- Registered as ARRT with certification in radiation therapy
- AHA BLS
