Bilingual Medical Assistant

We are located in La Verne and hiring candidates from the greater surrounding area.

Medical Assistant Job Summary: Looking for a Medical Assistant who is ready to work, can learn quickly, and can perform the following tasks independently:

• Draw up medications that will be administered either SQ or IM
• Administer SQ and IM injections
• Drawing and collecting blood specimens
• Be able to take manual vital signs and patient weights
• Updating patient charts
• Administrative tasks such answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, conducting transactions, etc.

The position is currently part-time with the potential to become full-time. Ultrasonic Cavitation has recently started being offered and will be performed by the Medical Assistants. IV Vitamin Therapy is planning to be started this year. We are willing to train applicants onsite. Hourly wages will start at $17 per hour and can increase pending employee performance.

Qualifications and Preferred Skills

• High school diploma required
• Medical Assistant Certificate/Diploma required
• Bilingual in Spanish and English REQUIRED
• Experience in phlebotomy and drawing blood specimens preferred
• Basic computer skills

Schedule:

Part-Time: Looking for someone who can work the following schedule. Hours may vary depending on client appointment schedules:

Mondays: 9AM-6PM

Wednesdays: 10AM-2PM

Thursdays: 9AM-6PM

Fridays: 9AM-2PM

Saturdays: Will alternate Saturdays with my other Medical Assistant. Hours will be 9AM-1PM

Tuesdays and Sundays: Off
