Job description

As the Data Integration & Reporting Analyst, you will develop and maintain SQL-based data reporting solutions, support backend database troubleshooting, and assist in the buildout and optimization of the firm's data warehouse. This role requires a solid understanding of firm processes and how they are implemented in software systems, enabling effective data extraction and transformation for analytics and reporting. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to align systems, processes, and reporting needs, supporting data integrity for business decision-making. You will also perform basic database administration (DBA) functions and supports software updates for on-premises databases.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
Develop SQL queries, stored procedures, and ETL/SSIS packages to support data reporting, analytics, and integration needs across the firm
Troubleshoot and optimize backend databases for performance, reliability, and data quality
Assist in the design, buildout, and maintenance of the data warehouse, including data modeling, integration, and reporting solutions
Perform basic DBA functions, such as building new database instances, troubleshooting current instances, and supporting software updates for on-premise databases
Understand firm processes and their implementation in software systems to facilitate effective data extraction and reporting (no documentation required)
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, Finance, Operations, etc.) to gather requirements, align systems, and deliver reporting solutions that meet business needs
Apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to analyze complex data issues and recommend effective solutions
Support data governance and integrity initiatives, ensuring compliance with internal standards and best practices
