Position Summary

An Axiom Integration Specialist is a client-facing, technical position responsible for implementing the Axiom Elite data integration product for higher education institutions. This role is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and supporting data integration solutions that enable accurate, secure, and reliable data movement across systems, applications, databases, platforms, and external partners. The Integration Specialist works closely with business stakeholders, IT, vendors, and operational groups to understand data requirements, build scalable solutions, maintain data quality, and ensure integrated data supports reporting, analytics, decision-making, and business operations for our clients.

The ideal candidate has experience with data integration products, Customer Relationship Management systems (CRM), the Ellucian Ethos Data Model, higher education data structures (ERPs), business processes, and solving complex data integration challenges.

Responsibilities
  • Develop end-to-end data integration solutions using current tools and software
  • Develop, configure, and maintain data workflows, ETL processes, APIs, database connections, file transfers, and other data integration workflows
  • Work independently to coordinate and solve technical data integration and transformation issues
  • Follow the Axiom project lifecycle to ensure timely delivery of integration solutions
  • Serve as the primary technical contact for assigned integrations
  • Work with clients to gather integration requirements and determine and/or recommend best methods for integrating systems
  • Communicate with customers to clarify requirements and expectations
  • Attend any required integration-specific and company meetings
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience using data integration/ETL tools.
  • Demonstrated ability in the following areas required:
    • Performing business requirements discovery sessions with customers.
    • Ability to translate business requirements to other technical resources for implementation.
    • Providing excellent customer service through strong communication skills.
    • Ability to organize tasks across multiple projects to ensure deliverables are on schedule.
  • Experience in the following is preferred:
    • Higher education student information systems.
    • CRM software.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
