POSITION AVAILABLE: Technology Integration Specialist
POSITION LOCATION: Southwest West Central Service Cooperative (SWWC) with placement in Worthington, MN.
POSITION SUMMARY: Promotes effective use of technology to support student achievement in E 12 classrooms by providing leadership, professional development, and instructional support to instructional and administrative staff. Collaborates with instructional and technical teams to support, manage, and optimize the use of instructional software, and technology resources in ways that enhance quality teaching and learning. Primarily provides services to school districts where work is done both independently and in collaboration with SWWC and school district colleagues. Ensures technology initiatives align with both District and SWWC goals and stay current with emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: Supports the SWWC Technology Department in providing unparalleled levels of service and user experiences to our staff and the members we serve; Provides technology integration services, including professional development and consultation to school districts and SWWC as a part of a team; Supports the administration, evaluation, and optimization of learning management systems, education technology platforms, and other technology-centric instructional tools and resources; Models and supports classroom-level technology integration through co-teaching, lesson modeling, and embedded coaching in member district settings; Develops and delivers engaging, innovative professional development on online learning, distance education, and technology integration, grounded in best practices for adult learning (andragogy); Tracks data from evaluations, needs assessments, and technology audits to inform recommendations and report on the effectiveness of technology integration efforts; Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in an area of study associated with Education or Educational Technology and three years of experience in a classroom setting; Or an equivalent combination of education, training, with three years of experience in training, coaching, or consulting educators in education technology adoption. A teaching license from the MN Department of Education preferred. Valid driver's license required. A criminal background check will be conducted on the successful applicant.
SALARY: Position to begin around July 1st, 2026. The salary range is $61,703 - $87,882, depending on education, qualifications, and experience. Excellent fringe benefits.
