Marketing Specialist – Email/SMS

Starting Pay: $24 to $26 per hour depending on experience

Hybrid Schedule: Monday – Friday, 3 days in office, 2 days work from home

The Email/SMS Marketing Specialist position Oversees and executes email marketing and SMS strategies. Plans and implements email campaigns, manages email database and audiences/affinities, optimizes automated campaigns, and analyzes campaign performance. Works closely with creative team to build emails to promote the brand, drive engagement/web traffic, and sales through email coordination. Coordinates with merchandising team to determine product/promotional messaging.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

Identify target audiences and grow email/SMS lists
Build audiences/affinities and manage campaigns
Analyze existing automated campaigns and optimize/build new campaigns as needed
Build Email/SMS orchestration campaigns
Ownership of marketing integration tools, Bluecore and others
Coordinate with Media Buying team with audience creation email marketing and other marketing channels
Coordinate with Merchandising team to determine product/promotional needs
Coordinate in weekly email marketing calls
Work with IT to ensure deliverability and offline/online data sync
Ensure emails follow industry standards and best practices
All other duties as assigned

WHAT YOU WILL BRING ALONG:

Excellent customer service and problem solving skills
BS/MS degree in Marketing or a related field
3+ years of experience in digital marketing, including email marketing
Highly strategic with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate online shoppers to buy
Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments
Knowledge of email marketing tools like Bluecore
Experience in setting up and optimizing email marketing campaigns
Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
