Marketing Technology Specialist (U.S. Remote)

As a Digital Marketing Specialist, you will combine creative and analytical skills to drive visibility, engagement, and performance across our digital channels. You'll own SEO and AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) efforts, manage email and SMS marketing programs, keep websites current and optimized, produce on-brand creative assets in Canva, and use AI-driven tools to work faster and smarter. You'll also be responsible for tracking performance and turning data into clear, actionable reporting.

About the Role:

As a Digital Marketing Specialist, you will combine creative and analytical skills to drive visibility, engagement, and performance across our digital channels. You'll own SEO and AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) efforts, manage email and SMS marketing programs, keep websites current and optimized, produce on-brand creative assets in Canva, and use AI-driven tools to work faster and smarter. You'll also be responsible for tracking performance and turning data into clear, actionable reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

SEO / AEO

  • Execute onsite and offsite SEO tasks, including keyword research, on-page optimization, and link-building support.
  • Optimize content and site structure for AI-driven answer engines (AEO) alongside traditional search
  • Monitor search and AI-visibility performance and recommend adjustments.

Reporting & Analytics

  • Build and maintain regular performance reports across SEO, email/SMS, website, and campaign channels.
  • Track key metrics, identify trends, and translate data into recommendations for stakeholders.
  • Maintain dashboards and reporting tools to support ongoing decision-making.

Email/SMS Marketing

  • Build, schedule, and manage email and SMS campaigns, including segmentation, automation, and A/B testing.
  • Monitor open rates, click-through rates, response rates, and conversions, and refine campaigns based on results.

Website Updates

  • Perform routine website updates, edits, and maintenance (WordPress or similar CMS).
  • Support landing page builds, form updates, and basic troubleshooting to ensure sites run smoothly.

Creatives / Canva

  • Design marketing creatives — social graphics, email/SMS visuals, ads, and web assets — primarily in Canva.
  • Ensure all creative output aligns with brand guidelines and campaign objectives.

AI Software

  • Use AI-driven tools and platforms to streamline content creation, research, reporting, and workflow efficiency.
  • Stay current on emerging AI marketing tools and recommend new applications for the team.

Qualifications:

  • 4-6 years of experience in digital marketing, with hands-on SEO and email/SMS marketing responsibility.
  • Working knowledge of AEO or a strong interest in adapting SEO practices for AI search environments.
  • Proficiency in Canva or similar design tools.
  • Experience with website content management systems (WordPress preferred).
  • Comfortable using AI-driven tools to enhance efficiency and output quality.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience building or interpreting marketing reports.
