Job Description
We are seeking a seasoned and forward-thinking Generative AI Lead to drive enterprise-level AI initiatives on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Generative AI technologies, strong leadership capabilities, and a proven track record in architecting and deploying scalable AI solutions that deliver measurable business impact.
As the GCP GenAI Architect/Lead, you will spearhead the design, development, and implementation of generative AI systems, mentor cross-functional AI teams, and ensure that AI-driven innovation aligns with organizational strategy, compliance, and performance goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end design, development, and deployment of Generative AI models and applications on GCP.
- Define and implement a comprehensive AI strategy and roadmap, focusing on integrating GenAI capabilities into business products and services.
- Architect, fine-tune, and optimize Large Language Models (LLMs) and multimodal generative AI systems.
- Lead and mentor a team of AI developers and engineers, fostering innovation, knowledge sharing, and collaboration.
- Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into practical and impactful AI solutions.
- Ensure adherence to AI ethics, data privacy, and model governance best practices across the AI lifecycle.
- Research and incorporate the latest advancements in Generative AI, LLMs, multimodal models, and AI agents.
- Design secure, scalable AI architectures using Docker, Kubernetes (GKE), and GCP IAM.
- Monitor model performance, implement CI/CD pipelines for AI workflows, and drive continuous model improvement.
- Communicate AI project status, impact, and technical concepts effectively to both executive and technical audiences.
- GCP Expertise: Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, Cloud Spanner, Firestore, Bigtable, Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, App Engine.
- AI/ML Expertise: Experience with LLMs, fine-tuning, and deployment on cloud-native environments.
- Containerization & Orchestration: Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes (GKE).
- Security & Governance: Strong knowledge of Azure Identity, GCP IAM, and data access control frameworks.
- DevOps & Monitoring: Familiarity with GCP Operations Suite (Monitoring, Logging, Trace, Debugger, Error Reporting).
- Architecture: Experience in event-driven systems using Pub/Sub and other real-time messaging tools.
- Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
- 10+ years of IT experience with at least 4+ years in AI/ML and GenAI-focused roles.
- Proven experience leading enterprise-grade AI and cloud transformation projects.
- Strong interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.
