Providence Center for Medically Fragile Children provides 24-hour nursing care for children with complex medical needs ranging in age from infancy to 21 years. Our programs address each child’s physical, social, spiritual, and psychological needs.

Description:

We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant 2 - Center for Medically Fragile Children that will perform basic nursing tasks while providing quality care to children and assists them in the activities of daily living under the direction and supervision of a licensed nurse (RN or LPN).

Required qualifications:

  • Coursework/Training: Completion of Oregon State Board of Nursing (OSBN) recognized Acute Care CNA 2 course -OR- Grandfathered to CNA 2 per OSBN requirements
  • Active and unencumbered license in the state of Oregon as Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • In compliance with the Department of Human Services (DHS), a criminal background check is required for this position.

Preferred qualifications:

  • One (1) year experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) 2
