About the Role

We are partnering with a growing IT services organization to hire an Infrastructure Engineer to support client environments across core infrastructure technologies. This role is focused on on-prem systems, with some exposure to hybrid and cloud environments. Deep cloud migration experience is not required.

Prior experience in an MSP or IT services environment is strongly preferred due to the customer-facing nature of the role.

Responsibilities

  • Support and maintain on-prem infrastructure for multiple client environments
  • Administer Windows Server, Active Directory, and virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V)
  • Support network infrastructure including switches, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless
  • Work with hardware, storage, backups, and disaster recovery solutions
  • Serve as an escalation point for complex infrastructure issues
  • Collaborate directly with clients and internal teams

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in infrastructure, systems, or network engineering
  • Strong hands-on experience with:
  • Windows Server & Active Directory
  • Networking fundamentals
  • Virtualization technologies
  • Physical server and storage infrastructure
  • Prior MSP or IT services experience
  • Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
