Job description

Oxford Solutions is working with a client seeking an IT Infrastructure Engineer for a contract role. This position will support and enhance enterprise IT infrastructure across a distributed office environment, with a focus on cloud-integrated file services, enterprise storage, network systems, and core infrastructure platforms.

This is a hands-on engineering role for someone with experience maintaining reliable, scalable infrastructure and supporting technologies such as Nasuni, Azure storage services, Aruba networking, Windows Server, virtualization, and enterprise storage platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain, support, and improve enterprise IT infrastructure across multiple office locations
  • Support cloud-integrated file services, including Nasuni or similar platforms
  • Assist with Azure-based infrastructure services, storage, and related cloud connectivity
  • Administer and troubleshoot enterprise storage systems, including SAN, NAS, and hybrid/cloud-integrated storage
  • Support Aruba network infrastructure, including switches, wireless systems, and network management tools
  • Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity to ensure business continuity
  • Troubleshoot infrastructure issues across servers, storage, networking, and cloud-connected systems
  • Support Windows Server environments and virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V
  • Participate in infrastructure upgrades, migrations, documentation, and process improvement initiatives

Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent professional experience
  • 4 to 6+ years of experience in IT infrastructure engineering, systems engineering, or a related role
  • Experience with Nasuni or similar cloud-based file storage platforms
  • Experience with Aruba networking technologies, including switches, wireless, and network management tools, or similar platforms
  • Knowledge of enterprise storage technologies such as SAN, NAS, and hybrid/cloud-integrated storage
  • Experience supporting Windows Server environments
  • Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across infrastructure, network, storage, and systems environments
  • Ability to support high-availability systems in a geographically distributed business environment
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with technical and non-technical teams
