Responsibilities:

Configure and implement IaaS solutions within the Azure platform

Install and configure Microsoft based technologies including SQL, SharePoint, Dynamics CRM and NAV and custom .NET applications

Work with development team to design proper network traffic flow, and to troubleshoot and correct existing issues Design and implement server and storage technologies

Improve our networks and connectivity, focusing on performance and reliability

Partner with security team to secure network traffic using best practices, including appropriate use of encryption/VPNs, firewalls, etc.

Strong experience with virtual networking

Build proper logging and tracking of error logs for security and compliance

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve global system and network issues

Document network processes, procedures, and practices

Be a part of the 24x7 emergency on-call and work nights and weekends during maintenance periods and service outages

Qualifications

Qualifications:

BA/BS Degree in a related technology field or equivalent experience

5+ years of extensive working experience in corporate infrastructure environment

Knowledge and experience installing and configuring SQL 2012 and above

Strong knowledge and experience in all aspects of IP networking and security infrastructure

Thorough understanding and working knowledge of Active Directory and DNS

Experience managing Windows servers

Experience managing backup solutions

Strong Experience working in a hybrid cloud environment (Office 365, AWS, Azure, etc....)

Experience working with a distributed IT team and the ability to assist and teach less advanced team members

Must be capable of independent self-direction

Nice to haves:

Office 365 - configuration and implementation

Experience with scripting (PowerShell, VB) to automate routine tasks
