Job Description

Summary

The purpose of this job is to nominate and schedule pipeline shipments on various pipelines and collaborate with the commercial team to optimize daily supply and demand forecasts across various regions.

Essential Functions
  • Determine locations to schedule and coordinate pipeline shipments across various regions of the United States. Originate, track, and execute timely pipeline nominations in various systems
  • Work collaboratively with the commercial team to optimize origin and destination deliveries to the most advantaged markets
  • Proactively own and be responsible for new scheduling business as applicable
  • Mentor and help train new team members
  • Analyze and assist commercial and supply teams to optimize inventories; help monitor current and past spot rack value
  • Work collaboratively with the operations, mid-office and settlement teams as well as external counterparties to resolve discrepancies
  • Network and build relationships with pipeline, terminals, terminal operators, and transportation companies
  • Responsible for input and updating actualization information in ETRM and other applicable systems
  • Assist in reconciling historical and current month's activities in appropriate systems
  • Backup scheduling team in other regions as applicable
  • Participate in special projects identified by manager, operations team, and traders
  • Model behaviors that support the company's common purpose; ensure guests and team members are supported at the highest level
  • Ensure all activities are in compliance with rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
  • Complete other duties as assigned


Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Associate degree required
  • Minimum 7+ years industry experience required
  • Minimum 5+ year's energy operations and inventory experience required

Specialized Knowledge
  • Understanding of pipeline tariffs for various pipelines
  • Understanding of Energy Operations lifecycle via various modes of transportation preferred
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills required; advanced skills preferred
  • Experience using Right Angle preferred

Travel

Travel required less than 15%

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions
  • General office work requiring sitting or standing for extended periods of time
  • Able to work extended business hours at times
  • Able to work evenings and odd hours as needed
