We seek energetic, attentive, smart individuals for this position. Parker Waichman has represented victims for over 30 years. We need motivated paralegals to join our growing team at our headquarters in Port Washington.

• Job Title: Paralegal - Mass Tort
• Type of Position: Full Time
• Hours: M-F, normal hours. Some overtime available.

Job Details:

Paralegals are critical to our attorneys and our clients. They're the main point of contact, the connection between our firm and the vulnerable, uncertain people who approach us for help. They actively manage cases and work closely with attorneys.

Duties include:

• Organization and management of high volume case load
• Research, planning, filing cases
• Extensive communication with staff, attorneys, and clients

Qualifications:

• 2 years experience, preferably with a plaintiff mass tort or personal injury firm
• Great work habits, including strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to describe, understand and persuade, in spoken and written word.
• Excellent organization and problem-solving skills; must be able to maintain a high case volume
• Superior computer and software skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Ability to think clearly and work well under pressure
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively and cooperatively with clients and all levels of staff within the office.
• Spanish language fluency a plus
• SmartAdvocate experience a plus

This position is located in the office in our Port Washington headquarters. All staff must be fully vaccinated.
