Job Description:
- Lead and manage the testing efforts for various projects, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
- Perform API testing (both manual and automation) for REST and SOAP services using Postman and RestAssured.
- Collaborate with onshore and offshore teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Understand and analyze requirements from documentation.
- Prepare test data for API, Kafka, and functional testing.
- Develop and execute automated tests for APIs.
- Utilize qTest, JIRA, and Agile methodologies to manage and track testing activities.
- Write and execute complex SQL queries to validate data integrity and accuracy.
- Participates in daily Scrums, Sprint Planning, and Sprint Retrospectives.
- Inspects the Testing progress at the end of each sprint to accept / reject completed work.
- Plan works to maximize efficiencies, effectively distinguishes between urgent and important issues, and accomplishes assignments in a consistent and timely manner.
- Follows the company's System Testing Life Cycle.
- Participates in customer meetings and share the thought process effectively.
- Work closely with all the project managers in the organization and drive efficiencies across Project and Portfolio management
- Being Point of contact for all queries relating to Testing Projects.
- Establish and support the organizations Audit Mechanism from Compliance standpoint on projects delivered as per requirements.
- Work with multiple vendors involved at the same time be able to strategically identify opportunities to generate growth
- Identify the testing effort required by calculating the sizing needed for the given release and plan the required effort for the same
