Job Description

Role Summary A Test Architect with a strong strategy and consulting mindset to define and drive enterprise‑scale test strategies across complex application landscapes. This role partners closely with Directors, Engineering Leaders, and Business Stakeholders to embed quality into delivery through scalable, measurable, and outcome‑driven testing practices.

Key Responsibilities

Define and own end‑to‑end test strategy aligned with business goals, delivery models (Agile, SAFe, Hybrid), and risk profiles.

Design test architecture covering functional, automation, performance, security, data, and compliance testing.

Act as a quality transformation consultant to senior stakeholders, influencing roadmap and release decisions using data‑driven insights.

Drive continuous improvement, including shift‑left/shift‑right practices and adoption of AI‑assisted testing and automation.

Establish quality governance, metrics, and quality gates across the SDLC and CI/CD pipelines.

Partner with Directors to translate strategy into executable test operating models.

Provide leadership to ensure consistent execution across teams.

Identify quality risks early and recommend proactive mitigation strategies.

Required Experience & Skills

15+ years of experience in software testing / quality engineering, with 5+ years in a Test Architect or Test Strategy role.

Proven experience defining and executing enterprise‑scale test strategies.

Strong understanding of Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, and cloud‑based delivery models.

Experience with modern test automation frameworks (UI, API, integration & Data), performance, and security testing.

Excellent stakeholder communication, consulting, and influence skills.

Ability to translate business objectives into practical, executable quality strategies.
