SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:
- How to not only teach the fundamentals of baseball, but to instruct players in the rules, regulations, equipment, and techniques of the sport.
- Ability to determine and assist in game strategy.
- Ability to work with and instruct all position groups.
TIME COMMITMENT:
- The in-season portion of the schedule runs from March through early June.
- The normal week for a baseball season will consist of six days (Monday-Saturday) for a minimum of two-three hours per day.
- Off-season requirements including weight training, summer camps, and contact days occur during June and July, January, and February. Fall/Winter USBA camps are also held on Sunday mornings.
