Responsibilities
  • Assist the Head Softball Coach with the leadership, administration, and daily operation of the softball program.
  • Recruit, retain, and develop student-athletes in accordance with NCAA, conference, and institutional regulations.
  • Assist with practice planning, skill instruction, player development, and team training activities.
  • Assist with game preparation, scouting, opponent analysis, and competition management.
  • Support the coordination of team travel, equipment, scheduling, and operational logistics.
  • Promote academic achievement, personal development, and overall well-being of student-athletes.
  • Assist with organizing and conducting camps, clinics, and other program-related events.
  • Support fundraising, community engagement, and alumni outreach initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with NCAA, conference, and University policies and procedures.
  • Maintain positive relationships with student-athletes, faculty, staff, alumni, and community stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with athletics administration and campus partners to support departmental goals and initiatives.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Head Softball Coach or Director of Athletics.
