Location - Boise, ID
Job Description:
Performs design and development engineering assignments related to hardware products and systems including development of new products or updates to existing products. Work may encompass one or more areas of engineering including electronic design, mechanical design, or other related fields. Duties may include research, evaluation, development, and application of new processes and methods into products. May be responsible for establishing and conducting testing routines, developing or executing project plans, budgets, and schedules, and documentation of work and results. 0-3 years of experience
We are seeking a highly skilled Bench Test Engineer with a strong background in electrical engineering and hands-on testing of enterprise SSD products. This role involves detailed bench-level testing, data analysis, and collaboration with engineering teams to ensure product performance and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform hands-on bench testing of SSD products, including:
    • Switching regulators and LDO regulators
    • Power systems and discrete component evaluation
    • Drive performance margining
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret test data to identify trends and issues.
  • Communicate findings clearly to the engineering team and propose solutions or next steps.
  • Work independently to troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges.

Qualifications:
  • Electrical engineering experience with bench-level testing.
  • Familiarity with basic Linux environments and debugging tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently to solve problems.

Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with enterprise SSD products and power systems testing.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data and provide actionable insights.
