Lead ServiceNow Developer (WSD)

Location: Charlotte, Dallas, Des Moines, Phoenix/Chandler

Contract/contract to hire and Contract Length: 9-12 months

Able to sponsor visas: No must work directly on Apex W2

Top 3 Requirements:
  • Must have WSD (Workplace Service Delivery) experience
  • 4-6 years’ experience in ServiceNow development and 5+ years of Specialty Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
  • CAS certification (CAD cert is a plus)
Day to Day Responsibilities/Project Specifics:
  • Act in the technical role to help design solutions for complex computer applications and/or applications initiatives.
  • Utilize a thorough understanding of available technology, tools, and existing designs.
  • Work on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires evaluation of intangible variance factors.
  • Plan, perform, and act as the escalation point for complex platform designs, coding, and testing.
  • Act as expert technical resources to programming staff in the program development, testing, and implementation process.
  • Design data services that deliver Strategic Enterprise Risk Management data.
  • Design and build high performing and scalable data pipeline platform using Hadoop, Ab Initio and Cloud based solutions.
  • Resolve issues and propose strategic solutions.
  • Leverage knowledge of industry trends to build best in class technology to provide competitive advantage.
  • Act as an expert technical resource to programming staff in the program development, testing, and implementation process.

Lead complex initiatives on selected domains. Ensure systems are monitored to increase operational efficiency and managed to mitigate risk. Define opportunities to maximize resource utilization and improve processes while reducing cost. Lead, design, develop, test and implement applications and system components, tools and utilities, models, simulation, and analytics to manage complex business functions using sophisticated technologies. Resolve coding, testing and escalated platform issues of a technically challenging nature. Lead team to ensure compliance and risk management requirements for supported area are met and work with other stakeholders to implement key risk initiatives. Mentor less experienced software engineers. Collaborate and influence all levels of professionals including managers. Lead team to achieve objectives. Partner with production support and platform engineering teams effectively.
