Job Description
Position Summary
The College of Veterinary Medicine at Long Island University invites applications for an Assistant/Associate Professor of Biomedical Sciences and Field Liaison.
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct facilities inspections of clinical sites utilized during the 4 th year of the DVM program
  • Analyze data collected during the pre-clinical and clinical phase of the DVM program and collaborate with team members to publish findings in peer-reviewed journals.

Minimum Qualifications
  • DVM or similar degree from an AVMA-COE accredited program.

  • Previous experience working with students in a veterinary program.
  • Demonstrated ability to publish research finding in peer-reviewed journals.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to support research activities as primary investigator or collaborator.
  • Excellent multi-tasking, time management, and organizational skills.
