Our success at LOCAL Public Eatery is a direct outcome of our ability to work as a team. As a Server Assistant, you will support your team in delivering Iconic Hospitality. Jumping into whatever is needed at the time, whether assisting in bar backing, clearing tables, seating guests or delivering food and drink. Your team relies on you to keep it all together and trusts you will be there when they need you, ready to lend a hand. You are a jack of all trades!

Wage Scale

$18.69/hour + tips

Duties
  • Provide guests with friendly and attentive service throughout their dining experience. Show them what Iconic Hospitality means!
  • Exude professionalism and Genuine Warmth and Care towards guests and partners alike.
  • Assist Servers in delivering exceptional service and a pristine environment.
  • Clear and set tables in a timely manner.
  • Monitor and assist with the delivery of guest beverage and food orders.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the restaurant by bussing tables of glassware, dishes, and cutlery.
  • Resolve service issues and guest complaints with a sense of urgency, poise, and good judgment. It's Your Business.
  • Complete assigned opening, side work, and closing duties to set your team up for success. Stock, clean, and organize service stations and sections.
  • Assist the Guest Services Team with front door duties, seating guests, and other requests as needed.
  • Reinforce guest identification requirements and age restrictions for alcohol sales in accordance with state law.
  • Follow all safe food and alcohol handling procedures in accordance with state law.
What's required
  • No experience necessary, but a desire to learn and ability to pick up quickly will be key.
  • The ability to connect with others; you know that teamwork means success.
  • You continuously seek opportunities to grow and learn.
  • The ability to take a pro-active approach to your work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must have or be able to obtain valid local and/or state Food Handler and Alcohol Server permits.
