The Information Technology Engineer designs, develops, implements and maintains LiveOnNY’s information technology components, including Information Technology (IT) Systems, Infrastructure, Network, Security and Operations to achieve business objectives. The Information Technology Engineer is responsible for ensuring responsive, secure and scalable systems, overseeing IT projects and ensuring that IT delivery aligns with business goals. The Information Technology Engineer role is a full-time position, and it is expected to adhere to all organizational policies and applicable regulatory obligations, stewardship of resources, confidentiality, and ethical conduct, and to devote all professional time to the performance of the responsibilities of this job description and remain available to fulfill management responsibilities inside and outside standard business hours as LiveOnNY’s needs dictate.
In this role, you will report directly to and work closely with the Chief Architect and the Vice President, Chief Administrative and Technology Officer.
This position is a fully onsite, in-office role based at LiveOnNY. Remote work or hybrid arrangements are not available for this position.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Required: Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field. Commensurate experience also considered in place of a degree. Master’s degree a plus. 7+ years of progressive relevant engineering experience. Deep knowledge of relevant technology stack, e.g., Network design (LANs, WANS, SD-WANs), Firewalls, Scripting and Programming Languages, Microsoft, Azure Services, etc. Proven ability to lead, mentor, and motivate a technical team.
Preferred: Advanced knowledge of networking, ITSM platforms, SaaS and CaaS principles. Knowledge of VOIP/Telecom technology and systems. Relevant certifications, such as CCNA, ITIL, or Microsoft certifications, are highly valued
LiveOnNY offers a competitive salary & comprehensive benefits package.
Salary Range: $110,000-$145,000 annually
