Job DetailsJob Location: Downtown - Decatur, IL 62523Salary Range: $63,000.00 - $70,000.00 SalaryYour next move starts here.
Basic Function:- Responsible for overseeing the administration, management and maintenance of computer network systems and data circuits.
- Responsible for installs, upgrades and monitoring network performance.
- Develops and documents system standards for computer and network devices.
- Responsible for recommending and scheduling repairs to the LAN/WAN.
- Uses network analysis tools to help troubleshoot network performance problems.
- Perform administrator tasks for the team.
- Understand, explain, and assist with adherence of internal policy as it pertains to the group and user/customer base.
- Maintain software license compliance and adhere to company policies and manage Microsoft Active Directory user permissions.
- Perform light programming/scripting to automate tasks, analyze system logs to identify potential issues.
- Responsible for administration, setup, and ongoing configuration of networking systems and equipment to include servers, routers/switches, firewalls, wireless AP’s and SDWAN.
- Participate with the installation, monitoring, maintenance, support, and optimization of all systems & network hardware/software, and communication links.
- Ensure stability and integrity of in-house voice, data, and wireless network services by continually monitoring systems with various networking tools.
- Troubleshoot network issues with other team members within the IT department and with vendors. Document changes within the scope of the network & systems.
- Other duties as assigned.
