Network Systems Administrator Overview The Network Systems Administrator manages and supports physical and virtual servers and storage systems

This role focuses on keeping systems available, secure, and running efficiently. Responsibilities include system design, setup, monitoring, troubleshooting, and supporting backup and recovery processes. The role also works closely with internal teams and external partners to resolve issues and improve systems.

On-call support may be required. Responsibilities Design, install, configure, maintain, and monitor servers (physical and virtual) Manage operating systems such as Windows Server and Linux Perform system updates, patches, and upgrades Monitor system performance and storage usage Troubleshoot and resolve system, storage, and application issues Support backups and disaster recovery processes Manage software releases, including installation and removal Respond to outages and provide on-call support when needed Skills and Abilities Strong knowledge of virtualization tools (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) Strong knowledge of server operating systems and storage systems Experience with Windows and Linux environments Knowledge of Active Directory and Group Policy Basic understanding of networking (TCP/IP, VLANs, firewalls, DNS, DHCP) Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues Understanding of networking and security basics Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience) 2-5 years of experience in system or server administration Experience with Active Directory Domain Services Familiarity with scripting or automation (PowerShell, Bash) Knowledge of monitoring tools and backup solutions Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft, CompTIA Server+, Linux) are a plus Salary: $75,000 - $93,000 Benefits: Health, Dental, Vision, 401k, PTO
