Senior Network & Systems Administrator
Department: Information Technology
Direct Supervisor: Senior Director, Information Technology
Status: Full-time
Summary:
The Senior Network & Systems Administrator is responsible for maintaining the enterprise server systems and applications including monitoring and reporting for adherence to the organization's security policies to ensure compliance. Manage help desk and monitor end user tickets with a focus on stakeholder satisfaction. Responsible for the ongoing support of all game day tasks and associated events at the facilities.

  • This is a full-time position based on-site at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, FL.

Responsibilities:
Enterprise Infrastructure & Systems Administration
  • Administer, maintain, and optimize enterprise infrastructure, including DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, Active Directory, Azure AD, Microsoft 365, virtualization, storage, and cloud environments.
  • Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, and Single Sign-On (SSO) platforms, including Okta.
  • Configure, deploy, administer, and support Windows Server, Linux, Windows, and macOS operating systems.
  • Maintain and administer Cisco networking infrastructure, including routing, switching, and wireless environments.
  • Manage Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive, and Azure Active Directory.
  • Design, implement, and support distributed network environments across multiple facilities.
  • Oversee VMware vSphere and other virtualization platforms to ensure optimal server performance and availability.
  • Administer enterprise storage solutions (SAN/NAS) and maintain backup and disaster recovery systems.
  • Manage JAMF Mobile Device Management (MDM) to ensure macOS devices remain compliant with organizational policies and security standards.
  • Administer NAC Solution

Security & Compliance
  • Monitor enterprise systems to ensure compliance with organizational cybersecurity standards and applicable regulatory requirements, including PCI-DSS and HIPAA, where applicable.
  • Ensure servers remain current with operating system patches, firmware updates, antivirus definitions, and security best practices.
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to strengthen cloud security, identity management, and endpoint protection.
  • Participate in vulnerability remediation, disaster recovery planning, business continuity initiatives, and incident response efforts.

Operational Support
  • Monitor enterprise system health and performance to maximize uptime and reliability.
  • Execute system maintenance, upgrades, and change management procedures with minimal operational disruption.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure, network, and server issues.
  • Provide infrastructure support for game day operations, concerts, Formula 1 events, tennis tournaments, and other stadium events.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including system configurations, procedures, change management records, and recovery plans.

Leadership & Service Delivery
  • Supervise and mentor the Systems Specialist and Help Desk Technician, ensuring high-quality technical support and professional development.
  • Oversee Help Desk operations, ensuring service requests are acknowledged within established service level expectations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional departments and technology partners to deliver reliable and secure technology solutions.
  • Identify opportunities to improve infrastructure performance, automation, security, and operational efficiencies.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in enterprise systems administration, networking, and infrastructure support.
  • Strong experience administering:
    • Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policy
    • Azure Active Directory / Microsoft Entra ID
    • Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive)
    • VMware vSphere or comparable virtualization platforms
    • Windows Server and Linux environments
    • Cisco networking technologies (routing, switching, wireless)
    • Enterprise storage (SAN/NAS)
    • Identity management and Single Sign-On (Okta preferred)
  • Experience with backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.
  • Working knowledge of Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking protocols.
  • Experience supporting both Windows and macOS environments.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, organizational, and documentation skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
