Responsibilities:

  • Execute work orders for physical maintenance and repairs using our advanced work order software, ensuring timely completion and high-quality workmanship.
  • Implement routine physical improvements to enhance the functionality and appearance of our properties, contributing to an exceptional tenant experience.
  • Respond promptly to emergencies following departmental protocols, demonstrating reliability and efficiency in crises.
  • Collaborate with the Supervisor to maintain organized equipment, tools, and supplies inventories, ensuring readiness for all maintenance tasks.
  • Assist in developing and executing a comprehensive preventative maintenance plan, keeping meticulous records to optimize building performance and longevity.
  • Support efforts to control expenses related to building operations, contributing to efficient resource utilization and cost savings.
  • Communicate building status and changes effectively to appropriate stakeholders, fostering transparency and proactive problem-solving.
  • Adhere to all safety standards, policies, and procedures, prioritizing the well-being of all occupants and personnel.
  • Interact in a professional and courteous manner with tenants, clients, co-workers, and vendors, embodying our commitment to exceptional service.
  • Utilize materials, supplies, and tools safely and efficiently, demonstrating respect for property and resources.
  • Adapt to changing priorities and assist with special projects and duties as assigned, showcasing your versatility and dedication to team success.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Preference for candidates with experience in medical office or commercial office building maintenance.
  • Education: High school diploma or GED required; technical school training in maintenance courses preferred.
  • Certifications: CFC Handling Certification preferred.
  • Technical Competence: Ability to understand and interpret design documents, manufacturer's specifications, and operational procedures.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster teamwork and positive relationships.
  • Safety Consciousness: Commitment to safety and adherence to protocols.
  • Physical Fitness: Capable of extensive walking, climbing stairs and ladders, and lifting/carrying at least 50 pounds with proper body mechanics.
  • Availability: Willingness to be available 24/7 for emergencies and participate in an on-call rotation.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Basic computer skills with the ability to learn job-related software.
  • Tool Knowledge: Working knowledge of tools and their proper use.

The hourly rate offered for this position takes into account various factors such as experience and location, beginning at $25 per hour.
