Department: Recycling & E-Commerce Operations
Join our nonprofit organization and help make a positive environmental and community impact! We’re seeking a reliable, motivated, and detail-oriented individual to support our e-commerce and recycling operations. This hybrid role involves managing online sales tasks and participating in hands-on recycling duties including driving a company car, and to load, unload, and palletize electronics.
- Pick up donated or scheduled electronics using the organization’s car.
- Sort electronic devices by category for recycling, resale, or donation.
- Build, wrap, and stage pallets for processing and shipment.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.
- Assist with preparing electronics for online sale (cleaning, testing, labeling, data entry).
- Photograph and list items on online platforms as assigned.
- Package and ship orders in a timely manner.
- Help track inventory and update product information.
- Communicate professionally with donors, partners, and team members.
- Assist in establishing and improving workflow processes.
- Follow all safety, compliance, and environmental guidelines.
- Represent the foundation’s mission with professionalism and care.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift 50–75 lbs and perform physical warehouse tasks.
- Basic computer skills; comfortable learning e-commerce systems.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Positive attitude, reliability, and a willingness to learn.
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Must pass a background check.
