Job description

Warehouse Associate/Driver

DDP Roofing Services, Inc. is seeking a reliable, safety-focused, and motivated Warehouse Associate/Driver to support daily warehouse operations and ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment to job sites. This position plays a key role in maintaining efficient field operations, safe material handling, and strong communication across internal teams.

Under the direction of the Warehouse Manager, the Warehouse Associate/Driver helps ensure equipment and materials are transported safely, the warehouse stays organized, and company standards are consistently upheld.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Safely transport equipment, materials, and documents to and from job sites, ensuring proper loading and unloading practices.
  • Operate company vehicles and equipment, including trucks, vans, and forklifts.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
  • Conduct routine maintenance checks on vehicles and maintain accurate delivery logs and related documentation.
  • Assist with physical inventory counts and identify potential discrepancies or material losses.
  • Support positive communication and teamwork with co-workers, supervisors, field inspectors, and customers.
  • Uphold company policies, maintain professional working relationships, and respond to calls/emails within required timeframes.
  • Ensure timely submission and delivery of job logs, foreman reports, payroll documents, attendance records, safety documentation, and other required paperwork.
  • Attend scheduled meetings at company offices or field locations as needed.
  • Represent DDP Roofing Services, Inc. in a professional manner, promoting our mission of quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Occasional out of town overnight travel required
  • DOT medical certificate or willingness to obtain one prior to start (company will assist).
  • Must be 21 years or older due to DOT state line regulations
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to operate forklifts, trucks, and other warehouse equipment (training provided if needed).
  • Ability to lift, move, and handle materials and equipment as required (up to XX lbsadd your specific weight requirement if applicable).
  • Strong attention to safety, organization, and detail.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Comfortable working in a warehouse environment and at job sites in varying weather conditions.
  • Strong communication skills and professionalism.
