Warehouse / Delivery Driver
Department: Warehouse
Reports To: Warehouse Supervisor/Manager
Position Overview
The Warehouse/Delivery Driver is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations and safely delivering HVAC and roofing materials to customer locations and branch facilities throughout the Tri-State area. This role requires strong attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and a customer-focused attitude in a fast-paced distribution environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Warehouse Responsibilities
  • Accurately pull, stage, and verify customer orders for pickup and delivery
  • Assist customers and vendors with loading and unloading materials
  • Receive, inspect, and stock incoming inventory and special-order shipments
  • Prepare and stage materials for next-day deliveries
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
  • Complete required shipping and receiving documentation, including obtaining signatures
  • Process return materials in accordance with company warranty procedures
  • Operate warehouse equipment including forklift (tow motor), pallet jacks, hand trucks, and ladders
  • Attend company-sponsored product and safety training
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures

Delivery Driver Responsibilities
  • Safely transport HVAC and roofing materials to customer shops, job sites, and branch locations
  • Operate DOT-regulated and non-CDL 16' and 26' automatic box trucks
  • Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
  • Verify materials against delivery paperwork prior to departure and upon delivery
  • Ensure loads are properly secured for safe transit
  • Assist customers with unloading materials at delivery locations
  • Obtain customer signatures and complete required delivery documentation
  • Comply with all DOT regulations and traffic laws
