Job description

Local Delivery Truck Driver – Home Every Night
Manassas, VA

General Shale, the nation’s leading manufacturer of brick and masonry materials, is seeking a professional Delivery Truck Driver to join our distribution team in Manassas, VA. This is a stable, year-round opportunity delivering masonry materials to jobsites throughout the region. Drivers are home every night.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver and unload products using a forklift/Moffett
  • Provide excellent customer service at delivery locations
  • Perform material handling and general yard responsibilities
  • Ensure safe and timely delivery of products
  • Maintain compliance with all safety and transportation regulations
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Valid Class A CDL required
  • Minimum of 3 years of Class A CDL driving experience preferred
  • Flatbed experience preferred
  • Forklift/Moffett experience preferred
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 100 lbs.
  • Strong commitment to safety and customer service
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
