Job Description

Acero Italian Restaurant in Maplewood, MO is looking for one sous chef to join our 33 person strong team. We are located on 7266 Manchester Rd. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, motivated, and engaged.

Responsibilities

Train and develop chefs, cooks and kitchen staff to our hospitality driven standards
Create new dishes and menus in accordance with business needs in working with Cheff
Anticipate ingredient needs and arrange re-stock accordingly
Ensure a productive kitchen flow that upholds business standards

Qualifications

Experience working as a line cook, sous chef or chef
High familiarity with kitchen equipment, processes, and health and safety guidelines
Able to delegate tasks effectively and assist when needed
Adaptable to high traffic and kitchen volume
