Job description

Come work for Windermere's most fun camp at Isleworth Golf & Country Club. This fun, inclusive summer camp is dedicated to providing a safe and memorable experience for campers ages 4-13. We are seeking responsible and energetic Lifeguards to supervise aquatic activities and ensure the safety of all campers and staff.
This is an 8 week assignment that includes training from May 26-28 and the week of June 29th off. Hours are from 10:30am to 2:30pm Tuesday thru Friday, camp runs from June 2nd to July 31st. Pays $19/hr includes meals. Must also be available to work an occasional weekend or special event. Opportunity to work in a fun, outdoor environment.
Responsibilities
  • Monitor campers and staff during swimming and water activities
  • Enforce pool and waterfront safety rules
  • Respond quickly and effectively to emergencies
  • Perform water rescues and administer first aid when necessary
  • Conduct safety checks of the pool/waterfront area
  • Assist with swim tests and aquatic programming
  • Maintain a clean and safe aquatic environment

Requirements
  • At least 1 year prior experience as a lifeguard or camp counselor
  • Current Lifeguard Certification (American Red Cross or equivalent)
  • Current CPR/AED and First Aid Certification
  • Strong swimming ability and rescue skills
  • Ability to remain alert and attentive for long periods
  • Friendly, responsible, and team-oriented attitude
  • Must be at least [16/18] years old
