Job description

Job Title: Systems Software Programmer – Consultant (10670)
Location: Cayce, South Carolina (Hybrid – 4 Days Onsite, 1 Day Remote after 1 month)
Duration: 12 Months (Possible Extension)
Interview Mode: One Round – Virtual
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, enhance, and maintain web applications using Angular (PrimeNG), TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
  • Design and build RESTful APIs and backend services using ASP.NET Core
  • Work on system modernization initiatives, including migration of legacy applications
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment
  • Perform unit, integration, regression, and automated testing
  • Collaborate with HR, Finance, and IT teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Optimize database performance and maintain data integrity
  • Create and maintain technical documentation
  • Ensure applications meet security, compliance, and regulatory standards (HIPAA, NIST, etc.)
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, and deployment activities
  • Support reporting systems and integrations (Power BI or similar tools)

Required Skills
  • 3+ years of experience with:
    • PrimeNG, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS
    • ASP.NET Core (REST API development)
    • Microsoft SQL Server / SQL (data modeling, stored procedures, performance tuning)
    • DevOps practices (CI/CD, deployment automation)
  • 5+ years of experience in:
    • Manual AND automated testing across SDLC
  • 3+ years of experience in:
    • Technical documentation
  • Strong understanding of:
    • System design, integrations, and application architecture
  • Familiarity with:
    • Security and compliance standards (HIPAA, NIST, etc.)

Preferred Skills
  • Experience with information security frameworks (NIST, HIPAA, CJIS)
  • Experience in IT implementation projects
  • Exposure to Power BI or data pipelines
  • Familiarity with Azure or cloud infrastructure
  • Experience with SharePoint or collaboration platforms
  • Prior government/public sector experience (preferred)

Education
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field OR equivalent work experience
