These markets include aerospace and defense, factory automation, air and water quality environmental monitoring, electronics design and development, oceanographic research, deepwater oil and gas exploration and production, medical imaging and pharmaceutical research.We are looking for individuals who thrive on making an impact and want the excitement of being on a team that wins.**Job Description****Job Summary:**We are seeking an Application Software Developer/Analyst skilled in building and maintaining reliable software systems using Microsoft technologies.**Detailed Description:**Key Responsibilities:* Leads projects and ensures the success of minor applications rollouts* Develop, modify, debugs and evaluate programs for functional areas, including but not limited to finance, human resources, manufacturing and marketing* Analyzes existing programs or formulate logic for new systems, devise logic procedures, prepares flowcharting, performs coding and tests/debugs programs* Recommends changes in development, maintenance and system standards* Trains users in conversion and implementation of systems* General Support – The position will have support responsibilities specific to basic applications problems. Support will require troubleshooting applications and may investigate related server and security systems to resolve operational issues and restore services.* Responds to emergencies as neededBusiness Analysis* Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.* Translate business needs into technical specifications and user stories.* Conduct gap analysis and propose effective solutions.* Present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders clearly and effectively.* Facilitate workshops, demos, and training sessions.Competencies* Problem Solving - Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; Gathers and analyzes information skillfully.* Project Management - Communicates changes and progress.* Technical Skills - Pursues training and development opportunities; Strives to continuously build knowledge and skills.* Oral/Written Communication – Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
