Hiring: Maintenance Technician / Equipment Maintenance Technician
Location: Columbus, Ohio
We are seeking a hands-on Equipment Maintenance Technician to support packaging, inspection, and serialization equipment within a regulated manufacturing environment. This role is critical in ensuring reliable production operations through equipment troubleshooting, repair, preventive maintenance, and rapid response support.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform mechanical, electrical, and electromechanical troubleshooting and repairs
• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime
• Support packaging equipment including cartoners, conveyors, labelers, printers, and vision systems
• Maintain serialization and inspection systems including cameras, sensors, and scanners
• Assist with PLC-controlled equipment fault recovery and system resets
• Ensure compliance with GMP, FDA, and site SOP standards
• Document maintenance activities and collaborate with Production, Quality, and Engineering teams
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in pharmaceutical, medical device, or regulated manufacturing environments
• Strong troubleshooting and equipment repair skills
• Knowledge of PLC-driven equipment, Cognex Vision Systems, and Systech Serialization preferred
• Familiarity with GMP/FDA compliance standards
• Ability to read technical drawings and equipment manuals
• Strong communication and documentation skills
