We are looking for an experienced Refrigeration & Commercial Ice Machine Service Techs to join our team. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of refrigeration systems and components, as well as the ability to diagnose and repair mechanical issues. The successful candidate will be able to troubleshoot and repair units quickly and accurately, and once trained will have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. We are looking for someone who is reliable, organized, and has a strong work ethic. We will have on the job training. Once trained you will be offered a company truck with all the tools you will need to perform the job.

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair mechanical problems on Commercial Ice Machines & Refrigeration.
  • Perform routine maintenance on the units.
  • Availability to work on-call on some weekends
  • Test and inspect parts for wear and tear.
  • Replace worn or damaged parts.
  • Keep accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed.
  • Follow safety procedures when working with tools and equipment.
  • Clean driving record
  • Safely drive a work vehicle while following all Florida driving laws.
  • Enter work orders in to the Jobber POS Service System. (we will train)

Qualifications:

  • At least three (3) years of Commercial Ice Machine & Refrigeration repair experience.
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively and courteously
  • Self-sufficient and able to work with little direct supervision
  • Ability to lift/lower/climb ladders/walk on roofs
  • Ability to lift 50-70 lbs occasionally

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Overtime
  • On Call - Weekends as needed (one Weekend per month)

Experience:

  • Commercial Ice Machine & Refrigeration repair and installation / 3 years (Preferred)

Language:

  • English (Preferred) / Some Spanish a plus.

Work Location: On the road and Wharehouse located in Medley FlL.
