Hogsalt is looking for a Staff Accountant to Join our team!

Qualifications (not Limited To The Following)

2+ years experience and bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field
Strong excel and reconciliation skills
Integrity, attention to detail, confidentiality, thoroughness
Restaurant accounting experience preferred

Job Duties Include (not Limited To The Following)

Full cycle of accounting process for assigned stores
Prepare and post journal entries
Process bank account reconciliations
Reconcile receivables
Complete analysis and account reconciliation to determine if journal entries are needed to issue accurate and complete financials
Prepare and file State and City Sales Tax Returns
Prepare Financial Statements- Income Statement, Balance Sheet, etc.
Assist with monthly, quarterly and year end closings
Assist with yearly budget process
Process year end 1099 forms
Lead by example and professionalism at all times and in all areas of Hogsalt restaurants.
Maintain a positive work environment.
Complete special projects as assigned.
Reports directly to the Accounting Manager, Hogsalt Finance Director and Hogsalt CFO.
