SUMMARY DESCRIPTIONThe Revenue Auditor I is responsible for performing daily revenue audits to ensure accuracy, compliance, and integrity of all financial reporting related to gaming and non-gaming operations. This role conducts detailed inspections, reconciliations, and analysis of financial documents and operational data to support regulatory compliance and internal controls. The Revenue Auditor I plays a key role in identifying discrepancies, maintaining audit documentation, and ensuring timely and accurate reporting in accordance with company policies, gaming regulations, and accounting standards.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/DUTIES(These duties are performed with or without reasonable accommodation.)
Practices, supports, and maintains the Mission, Vision, and Values of WarHorse Gaming, LLC.
Conducts daily audits of gaming and non-gaming revenue, including slots, table games, F&B, and other operational areas.
Reviews financial documents, reports, and supporting data for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
Researches and investigates missing, inaccurate, or conflicting financial information and resolves discrepancies.
Compiles and maintains supporting documentation for audit findings, variances, and unusual transactions.
Prepares daily revenue audit reports and ensures all required submissions are completed accurately and on time.
Enters audit data into revenue audit systems and generates reports for management review.
Prepares journal entries and records variances, coupons, and other accounting-related transactions.
Reconciles general ledger accounts regularly and investigates discrepancies as needed.
Assists in monitoring all property financial activities to ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and gaming regulations.
Processes and analyzes data from multiple operational systems for reconciliation and regulatory reporting.
Writes, updates, and maintains departmental audit procedures and checklists.
Meets daily, weekly, and monthly reporting deadlines.
Maintains strict confidentiality and accuracy of all financial records and reports.
Attends departmental meetings and participates in continuous process improvement efforts.
Ensures a high level of internal service and operational support across departments.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience:
Must be 21 years of age or older
High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
Previous auditing, accounting, or revenue audit experience preferred
Casino, hospitality, or gaming industry experience strongly preferred
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial reports, journals, and operational documents
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and financial/audit software
Ability to work independently while managing multiple deadlines
Strong understanding of audit processes, reconciliation, and internal controls
Ability to learn and apply gaming regulations, policies, and procedures

Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as business needs require
Due to the nature of the gaming and hospitality industry, schedules may vary
Travel is primarily local during business hours. Occasional out-of-area or overnight travel may be required.
CERTIFICATION & LICENSING REQUIREMENTSMust be able to obtain and maintain a Nebraska Gaming License
