Job Purpose
The primary mission of the Region Maintenance Manager function is to assist and guide operations staff on maintenance and repair processes in a fast paced and customer focused professional environment. The position would be responsible for improving the maintainability, reliability, and availability of the assets through the execution of improved maintenance practices, personnel training and development of technicians and service staff. This role also acts as a key liaison with our OEM equipment suppliers and improving communication and dialogue with HERC branches.
What you will do...
- Work collaboratively with Region/Corporate safety personnel and the locations to ensure we follow safe work practices.
- Create and work with branch operations to ensure compliance with regulatory / Hertz maintenance and ensure branches meet HERC inspection standards.
- Create standard processes and KPI's for warranty and work with OEM's and branches to maximize the recoverable warranty on claims made.
- Ensure there is regular communication with service and shop managers regarding best practices or information from OEM's relative to the repair and maintenance of the fleet.
- Develop processes and KPI's to manage mechanic and shop productivity. Help branches achieve the right balance of personnel to fleet to maximize fleet available and control FUR.
- Develop PM reporting to ensure branches track and monitor maintenance intervals, annual inspections and required NDT testing of the fleet. Work with branches on staffing and training to optimize maintenance of the fleet.
- Conduct quarterly benchmarking of maintenance expenses internally and externally where possible
- The Region Maintenance Manager is responsible for working and collaborating with regional operations staff to maximize repair and maintenance of the fleet and assist in process improvement that leads to improved expense management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of five years holding a leadership role demonstrating the ability to lead and getresults through others
- Lean six sigma methodology
- Root cause / statistical analysis

Pay Range: $95,000 - $120,000 salary + vehicle
