We are looking to add new talent to our growing team! We currently are seeking a Project Manager, Civil/Environmental Engineer, Environmental Scientist, or Geologist/Hydrogeologist with strong technical and leadership skills to work in the real estatedevelopment, institutions, and infrastructure market sectors to interact withclients and manage projects that require site characterization; due diligenceassessments; environmental investigation related to soil, groundwater, andvapor intrusion issues; state and USEPA regulatory interaction; and fieldsupport during remedy implementation and construction. We also offer the opportunity for staff towork on challenging environmental and integrated environmental/geotechnicalservices projects for a wide range of clients. This is an excellent opportunityto join a growing group and company. This position is located in our New York City, NY or White Plains, NY office.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
In this position, you will:

  • Understand client needs and is able to develop strong client relationships.
  • Be capable of managing financial and technical aspects of projects.
  • Execute projects to meet technical, quality, budgetary and scheduling requirements.
  • Demonstrate very strong verbal communications and written skills including client deliverables and regulatory submittals.
  • Be effective in assigning and managing work.
  • Demonstrate strong coaching and mentoring skills.
  • Have skills in quality control, planning, cost estimating, and scheduling.
  • Have experience in planning and directing environmental field observation and testing programs; including laboratory test selection and data evaluation.
  • Work collaboratively and lead multi-disciplinary project teams on all aspects the project to address client goals and objectives; with primary focus on:

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
Minimum Skills and Requirements:

  • Minimum of Bachelor of Science in civil or environmental engineering, geology/hydrogeology, environmental science, or related field.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of environmental experience.
  • Experience working in the New York State Brownfield Cleanup Program and New York City Office of Environmental Remediation Program.
  • Professional Engineer and/or Professional Geologist licensure in the State of New York or the ability to obtain licensure within 1-year is highly preferred.
  • Computer Skills - Strong computer literacy skills including proficiency in industry standard software.
  • OSHA 40-hr. HAZWOPER training required.

The salary range for this position in New York City, NY and White Plains, NY is $97,000 - $216,000 annually. Actual compensation will be based upon a variety of factors such as education, related work experience, certificates, skills, and current market conditions. Haley & Aldrich reviews salary ranges each quarter to assess competitiveness with the market.
