Part-time Infusion Nurse - Chelmsford, MA

Gastro Health is looking for a part-time Infusion RN to join our growing team!

Our Infusion Nurses interact with patients daily, and they provide valuable customer service to our patients. They administer medication, record medical information, and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans. Our Gastro Health team goes home at the end of the day knowing we made a positive difference in our patients' lives.

Requirements:

• Current Massachusetts State RN license
• 2 years of RN experience is preferred, but new grads are welcome!
• Infusion and IV experience required
• BLS and ACLS (preferred)

Job functions include:

• Administer medications to patients and monitor patients for reactions or side effects.
• Record patients' medical information and vital signs
• Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions
• Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans
• Modify patient treatment plans as indicated by patients' responses and conditions
• Instruct individuals, families, or other groups on infusion medication and medical condition
• Follow prescribed medical regimen and implement orders accurately as evidenced by documentation; enter, review and update computer data as per Gastro Health standards and procedures
• Clearly communicate the plan of care in a timely manner to the patient/ family & the appropriate team members using available tools; recognize, report, and document pertinent information
• Utilize best practices in transitions in care
• Maintain positive professional interactions & working relationships
