Job Overview: Manages staff and functions of custodian services for Little Six Casino.  Ensures the cleanliness of the property to provide guests and team members a sanitary and safe environment.  Develops and implements cleanliness, safety and guest service standards. Oversees LSC wardrobe activities.

Empower Your Future: The Work You'll Lead:

  • Manages and schedules the 24/7 work activities of shift supervisors and team members in accordance with labor budget. Assigns tasks and monitors progress. Oversees LSC wardrobe activities.
  • Manages staff, including scheduling, team member performance and inspecting completed work for conformance to established standards. Completes performance appraisals, disciplinary actions and terminations. Interviews, selects, hires, and promotes team members, including team member training and development to achieve a positive team member environment and job satisfaction. Provides performance feedback. Approves payroll and oversees labor hour usage.
  • Develops and implements safety and service standards, including maintenance procedures.
  • Manages the equipment and supplies inventory. Monitors supplies and equipment usage and arranges for equipment repairs. Orders supplies and equipment following established company and department policies and procedures to budget guidelines. Coordinates with Purchasing and vendors to resolve issues.
  • Inspects Little Six Casino to ensure that cleaning services and guest service standards are maintained.
  • Enforces enterprise and departmental policies, procedures and programs to ensure written programs are followed.
  • Supervises planned and unplanned cleaning tasks and requests (i.e. casino promotions, construction clean up, blackjack, and slot projects, and restaurant events).
  • Occasional tasks

Job Requirements: 

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • High School graduate or GED.
  • Three years of management/supervisory experience in building custodial maintenance.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English clearly.
  • Proficiency in word-processing, spreadsheets, presentation, and electronic mail software.
  • General knowledge of personnel/building safety and HAZCOM/blood-borne pathogens
